Baseless: CBSE denies reports of 15 % syllabus cut for 10th,12 th Board Exams
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Thursday has denied reports suggesting a 15 per cent syllabus reduction for board examinations in 2025 for Classes 10 and 12.
It said that no such policy decision was taken.
Earlier, a few news outlets had reported that the CBSE has announced a reduction of syllabus of up to 15 per cent.
The reports quoted Board's regional officer, Vikas Kumar Agrawal, who was speaking at a school principal's summit 'Bridging the Gap' in Indore, The educational body, in a note, said that it had not issued any such notice or made anu changes to the evaluation system or the exam policy.
It added that any information related to the Board's policy decisions is published only through its official website or through authorised channels.

Therefore, such reports are considered baseless, the note read.
