Govt. gives top priority for law and order: Minister Ponnam Prabhakar
Rajanna-Sircilla: Transport and BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said that the state government was giving top priority to maintain law and order in the state and revolutionary decisions have been taken.
The minister inaugurated 46 CCTV cameras set up in Sircilla and Vemulawada areas through virtual mode from Integrated District Offices Complex, Sircilla on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Prabhakar said that police were discharging their duties with an aim to give protection to the public.
If law and order was under control, the state would get new investments thus the local youth would get employment.
As a result, the state would develop in all fields.
The CCTV cameras would play a vital role in law and order maintenance as well as prevention of crime.
Stating that a camera was equal to 100 police personnel, the minister asked public representatives, business persons and public to come forward to establish cameras in their locality voluntarily.
Cameras established in different places of the district have been interlinked to the command control center established in the district police office.
If the crime took place anywhere in the district, it was possible to find it by sitting in the command control center.
The Minister appreciated district police for maintaining law and order by perfectly implementing visible and village police officer systems.
