He has six centuries and 53 fifties to his name.
The right-handed batter from Mumbai made his T20I debut for Men in Blue in March 2021 against England and since then has amassed a total of 2570 runs in 77 matches.

He was also asked to name the toughest bowler to hit out in the shortest format of the game, and in answer to that question, he mentioned star Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah’s name.
Since making his international debut for Men in Blue in January 2016, Bumrah has established himself as one of the best bowlers across formats.
He is in fact the only bowler in the world to reach the No.
1 position in the ICC rankings in all three formats of the game.
The 30-year-old right-arm pacer picked up 15 wickets in eight matches of the 2024 T20 World Cup for India, and for his brilliant performance, he won the Player of the Tournament award as well.
When asked to pick one batter to bat for his life, the South African wicketkeeper-batter mentioned Hashim Amla’s name.
