Watch: ICC Video Seems To Confirm Pakistan Will Host Champions Trophy 2025
Amidst the controversy over India’s reported refusal to travel to Pakistan for Champions Trophy 2025, the ICC has announced a fresh visual identity for both the men and women’s versions of the competition.
A video released by the ICC shows Pakistan as the host for the eight-team tournament set to be held in February-March next year.
The first ever ICC Women’s Champions Trophy will be hosted by Sri Lanka in 2027 and it’ll be played in T20I format.
“A battle for the iconic white jackets will occur every two years as an alternating men’s ODI event featuring the top eight teams and then entering a new era, the top six women’s T20 teams will compete in an intense and all-out showdown…” reads a statement on ICC’s official website.

The men’s Champions Trophy will return in 2025 after a gap of nearly eight years when Pakistan defeated India in the final to win the title.
“The return of the men’s ICC Champions Trophy with a brand-new women’s event has provided us with a great opportunity for a refreshed vibrant and fun visual identity to represent the events over the next few years,” ICC chief commercial officer Anurag Dahiya said in a statement.
“The two-weeks of thrilling competition the event is renowned for is reflected in the bold and loud edge to the brand.
The new elements are accompanied by the distinctive white jackets which nod to the history of the Champions Trophy and its unique, global appeal,” he added.
